Beau grew up in the Sans Bois Mountains, raised by a mother who believed a warm den and a good meal could fix almost anything. That stuck with him. When he wandered into Broken Bow and found The Utmost Host, he felt immediately at home. He asked Nick and Stacy if he could help. Nick handed him a shirt. That was five years ago.
Beau knows Broken Bow
He's been part of The Utmost Host ever since. His job is to know Broken Bow better than anyone and make sure guests leave feeling like they didn't miss a thing. He takes that seriously. Usually, while pouring himself a second cup of coffee.
Beau knows Broken Bow the way you know a place you chose on purpose. He'll tell you which trail to hit first, which firepit has the best view, and exactly how long to stay in the hot tub before it stops being relaxing and starts being ridiculous. He knows where the light hits the water in the morning and which roads are worth taking slow.
He also has opinions about s'mores. Strong ones. High flames are for atmosphere. Glowing coals are for s'mores. He will repeat this to anyone who will listen. He's not wrong.
The Standard He Keeps
It's the same reason Nick and Stacy trusted him with the properties in the first place. Beau treats every cabin like it belongs to someone who cares about it. Because it does.
Beau comes from a big family. His cousin Ranger lives in Dallas and thinks he's sophisticated because he buys his salmon at Whole Foods. His cousin Boone is up in Oklahoma City. His idea of nature is the tree in his front yard. He's named it. He has not visited it. Beau visits them a few times a year, and every time he comes back to Hochatown, he remembers why he stayed.

The Broken Bow that Beau loves is the one most people don't find on their first trip. The quieter version. The one that shows up after you've put the phone down, after the drive through the trees has done its work, after you've sat by a fire long enough for your shoulders to finally drop.
