Hi! We are Nick & Stacy from Frisco, TX, and we love to vacation any place where we can be close to nature. Nick is from the beautiful country of Slovenia (Google it-it's a secret gem of a place!) where one is always less than 45 minutes from the mountains and forests. When we discovered Broken Bow (AKA Hochatown), we fell in love with the idea that we could be in nature, doing the things we love like hiking and kayaking, within a 2.5 hour drive from our Texas home!
We have 3 children and 2 fur babies. Soon to be empty-nesters, we knew that we'd have a bit more time on our hands with no kids in the house, so we decided it was the perfect time for us to buy our 1st dream cabin so that we could escape the hustle-bustle of suburbia at our leisure.
Nick has spent 25+ years in hospitality, spending many of his years as a deck supervisor and assistant maitre d' on cruise ships! He has an eye for detail and makes everyone he meets feel special. Stacy travels for work and takes note of special touches that make her stays memorable and tries to replicate those in the amenities we provide in our cabins. Our goal is that our guests will thoroughly enjoy the experience and come back to visit often.
Over time, other cabin owners in the area got wind of the great reviews we get from our guests and soon started asking us to host their cabins, too. Of course, we said, yes! We love helping people make memories and enjoy sharing in their joy.
During your stay
We are not like "typical" management companies. We are a small boutique "co-host" company, and we pride ourselves on being available to our guests. You will have both our cell phone numbers and are able to text with any questions. We also provide a detailed Online Guidebook prior to your stay with all the details you'll need to know on the home as well as a local area resource guide on things to do. We hope that whether you're coming up for a romantic getaway, a girls' trip or a fun vacation with your family, we can make your experience as fun and memorable as possible!
